all material including safety sheet Thank you for your
interest in the KartRaiser from Full Bore Karting. We believe this stand will
put some needed relief into your pit area and race days. Your unit has been covered with some insulation to aid in its protection during shipping. The long piece on the front lift arm has been secured and should remain in place. In the bag you will find washers, axle collars and an Allen wrench for the wheels. You will need a standard U1L size lawn tractor battery with 160 CCA to operate this unit. A dry cell battery of at least 160 CCA and no larger than 5” x 8” will fit in the battery tray as well. ***Keeping tension on the cable at all times will avoid the cable from loosening on the spool and pinching itself. If this occurs you will need to release some cable and re wind it on the spool This can be accomplished by releasing the spool with the handle on the end, pull out the cable. Reset the handle and use the winch to pull in the cable, keeping tension on it and guiding it on the spool in an even fashion*** You might notice some stiffness in the bushings on the lift arm when new. These should loosen up quickly. It
might be necessary to manually push forward the arms to lower the stand for the
first few inches of movement. Some weight has been added to the top front lift
arm to avoid this. The cable guide on the wheel should be moved up after unpacking, DO THIS WITH THE STAND IN THE UP POSITION TO AVOID BINDING AGAINST THE CABLE. When lowering the kart you will need to lightly pull back the stand as the karts nose touches down to keep the cable tight. This can be done with the control cable or by placing your foot on the rear wheel and rotating it backwards a half turn. Gravity will take over after that. **For swivel wheeled models, pull the stand back a foot or so before lowering the kart to set the swivels in the correct position. Then raise the arms before moving stand away from kart. Push the KartRaiser forward behind your kart to set wheels before lowering the arms to lift your kart. You will understand why the first time you forget :-) Enjoy your new KartRaiser Electric Kart lifter! Safety Warnings
